What this site processes, where it goes, and what is retained.
What this site collects
Nothing, unless you send it or use Find Your Topic. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking on any page. No tracking cookie is set. Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere.
Find Your Topic
Find Your Topic uses the source material you choose to provide and your interview answers to generate questions and a final report. PDF, DOCX and TXT files are read in your browser. The original files are not uploaded, but their extracted text is sent with the pasted material and interview answers when needed to conduct the interview.
That text is processed by OpenAI through its API. Requests explicitly disable stored response state. OpenAI says API data is not used to train its models unless the account holder opts in, but prompts and responses may still be kept in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless stronger OpenAI data-retention controls apply. This site does not intentionally store your source material or verbatim interview transcript after the request that uses it. There is no server-side interview account or saved content session. Short-lived signed tickets contain identifiers, expiry times and cryptographic digests, not the material itself. To stop a submitted turn being replayed, the server temporarily records only a random one-use identifier and its expiry. The active interview is held in the current browser page and is lost when that page is closed or refreshed.
After completion, only the final topic, the 20 final questions, a format version and completion and expiry dates are saved in your browser for up to 90 days. This lets a future Find Your Voice exercise continue without retaining the underlying source or transcript. You can remove that data at any time by clearing this site's browser data.
You can optionally email the completed report to yourself. If you do, the address and final report are sent to the transactional email provider solely to deliver that email. The address is not added to a mailing list and is not newsletter consent. Source material and the verbatim interview transcript are not included in the report email.
Find Your Topic and the contact form use Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention. During an interview, a fresh verification is checked before each model request. Cloudflare processes limited technical information for those checks; verification tokens are single-use and short-lived.
The contact form
When you submit the form, the name, email address, organisation and message you typed are sent by email to John Pedersen. They are used to reply to you and for no other purpose. They are not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not shared with anyone else.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person rather than a script. Cloudflare processes a limited amount of technical information to make that check.
Enquiries are kept in the email account they arrive in for as long as the conversation is live, and deleted once it is clear no further contact is expected. You can ask for your message to be deleted at any time by emailing [email protected].
Booking a call
If online booking is switched on, the calendar is provided by Google. Booking a slot means giving Google the details you enter into it, under Google's own terms. If you would rather not, send a message through the contact form and the times can be agreed by email instead.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the technical information any web server sees, such as your internet address and browser, in order to serve the page and defend against attacks.
Who holds the information
The data controller is SATAXI Labs, Inc., a company incorporated in the State of Delaware in the United States, at 1111B South Governors Avenue, Suite 54009, Dover, DE 19904, United States. Anything you send through this site is held by that company and answered by it. Write to [email protected] about anything in this notice, or to that address for anything that has to be on paper.
Your rights
Whatever data protection law applies where you live, you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to it being used. Those requests are honoured wherever they come from, rather than only where a law compels it. Email [email protected] and you will get an answer from the company that holds it.
Changes
If this note changes in a way that matters, the change will be described here rather than made quietly.
